Possible Topologies

The Access Control panel usage allow us to dynamically design the installation topology offering solutions for each different

case. Having this option available different type of installation may be carried out that can work for one or two doors with

the according readers, exit buttons, electric strike and communicate with the control software by serial (BUS RS-485) or

by Ethernet (TCP/IP). Especially in the case of Ethernet topology the network can be expanded up to 1.023 Access Control

panels or 4.092 doors.

One Door Installation

During the installation and configuration of an Access Control for one

door the proccess is quite simple since all settings are preconfigure and

you just need to make the correct connections between the access

control panel and the periferals (reader, magnetic contact, exit button,

electric strike). The connection with the control software can be estab-

lished through serial (BUS RS-485) or Ethernet network (TCP/IP).

Multiple Door Installation

In case of having more than one door installation the connection type remains simple since the installation and configura-

tion remains the same for all panels. The connection between the Access Control panels and the control software can be

established through serial (BUS RS-485) or Ethernet network (TCP/IP).
